However, there are so many quality coffee websites that some of them get overlooked. That’s where this article comes into play; we have detailed some of our favorite sites and listed why we think they are so special.

Our list includes multi-national roasters, individual coffee shops and brands, educational websites, and much more. Essentially, if it has something to do with coffee and we enjoy the site, then we included it on our list.

1. Full Coffee Roast

No list of coffee websites would be complete without mentioning the one you are on right now, Full Coffee Roast. This is a site that has every detail you could possibly be looking for regarding your morning cup of Joe.

It is a great place for both beginners and coffee aficionados to learn about the subject, with articles regularly published on the different styles of coffee, brewing methods, product reviews, and much, much more. The editor of the side is a fully-trained barista, and all the staff knows all there is to know about the drink.

In short, Full Coffee Roast is a site that can answer all your questions about coffee. And if there is a question we can’t answer, we don’t mind sending you in the right direction (likely to one of the websites on this list) to get the answer.

2. Ipsento Coffee

Ipsento Coffee is a website that does not rely on pre-existing templates for its images. Instead, it provides professional photographs that will allow visitors to immerse themselves in a high-quality coffee environment. How it looks is its biggest advantage, with this imagery really helping it to stand out from the crowd.

The website also has brilliant functionality, highlighting the likes of educational events where visitors can learn more about the process of growing, making, and selling high-quality coffee. Discussing its functionality, it’s hard to get away from the fact that the menu bar is easy to navigate, while the subpages provide concise descriptions using short, simple language. This is a great website that will help you stay up to date on the latest information in the industry.

3. America’s Best Coffee Roasting Company

This website leverages a clever design that features a palette that is mostly grayscale. There are plenty of images and bright events throughout the website. The color contrast helps you focus on what is important.

Some of the features of this site include:

  • A small grid provides a strong contrast to the helpful text on the left-hand side.
  • The homepage is minimalist, which prevents you from feeling overwhelmed.
  • Their images are sharp and well-defined, providing a helpful view of what is happening with the company.

This is a website that is helpful for all coffee lovers. It’s simple enough for anyone to use but is also highly informative.

4. CoffeeGeek

CoffeeGeek is a bit different from the other websites featured on this list so far. This is the place to go for everything that has to do with coffee. The helpful information that you will find on this site includes professional guides on the coffee-making process, preparation tips that can help you refine your brews, and consumer reviews on numerous drinks, roasts, and products

This website also features a unique section titled “Opinions.” This is found on the navigation bar and provides columns for regular coffee enthusiasts. They provide insight and expertise on everything from coffee beans to makers and more.

It’s a useful site for coffee aficionados who want to hear what their peers think about the latest developments in the world of coffee making.

5. INeedCoffee

INeedCoffee is a website that specializes in coffee education. The homepage features both a slogan and a call to action that clearly states that this is a great place to learn about how to make coffee. As a result, this is a good website for reviewing coffee makers.

INeedCoffee also provides helpful tutorials that provide education on how to improve their brews. They dig deep into the technical aspects of making coffee, helping you refine your drinks to meet the desires of your target market. They also focus on the culture of coffee drinkers throughout the world.

This is a fascinating website that is great for anyone looking to learn more about coffee.

This website is based in Australia. While they run a small business, they also have a straightforward approach to online commerce.

This website provides detailed information on specific beans and roasts that can help you define your own brewing process. If you are considering launching your own coffee website, you might be interested in their navigation bar, which has only three options, keeping it simple.

They also provide reviews of products and services, which is an interesting idea that you might want to provide to your own customers. It’s a great site for those new to owning a coffee shop and who want to see how to make a simple, yet useful, site.

7. Noc Coffee Company

Noc Coffee Company’s site uses a split-screen homepage design. Despite this unique feature, it is still easy to follow and navigate your way around.

Some of the features of Noc Coffee Company’s website include a main navigation menu that is easy to follow, nice videos of baristas hard at work, and a loyalty program allowing you to earn rewards for purchases.

Noc Coffee Company has a blog they update on a regular basis. There is a lot of nuance to this website that is helpful for those who would like to learn about coffee.

8. Ceremony Coffee

Ceremony Coffee is a minimalist website with a tidy, hero header. They provide a wide range of products for those who love coffee. There is a lot of white space between the sections and the homepage, helping people’s eyes focus on what matters.

This is one of the most creative websites for coffee lovers. This website includes an option called “Taste by Color,” which changes the color of the website accordingly. We love seeing brands embrace such original and innovative ideas, as it makes a nice change from template-heavy websites that are so common in the world of coffee.

9. Starbucks

Starbucks is the most popular coffee shop in the world. It is also the largest coffee chain, with more than 15,000 branches in the U.S. alone. It was founded in Seattle back in 1971 and has gone from strength to strength since.

With great success comes the need to change with the times. Their website has always done that, with the brand consistently paying attention to its online presence in an attempt to stay ahead of the curve.

Not only does their current site detail all the products they have available (with a pretty extensive ‘Order & Pickup’ service) but it also lists all the store locations and gives a full history of the brand.

10. Buzz Coffee

Going from one coffee store that is known worldwide to another that has previously described itself as ‘underground’, Buzz Coffee’s website is a demonstration of how simplicity can just work.

Their website isn’t overly elaborate, but it’s easy to navigate, lists what it needs to list, and gives visitors an idea of what the brand represents. It also has a neat and tidy option for applying for jobs, which is always useful for growing brands that want to minimize the admin associated with HR.

11. Founders Coffee

FoundersCoffee.com is a great example of how to build a website that truly represents your brand values. Their site mixes in bright imagery with crisp coloring to create a site that screams freshness. Overall, this site is just a feast for the eyes.

The Las Vegas coffee shop’s site is mobile-focused, but that’s not to say that it doesn’t look great on a laptop or desktop too. Just like Buzz Coffee, their site is powered by BentoBox, who seem to be experts in producing clean, minimalist sites for coffee shops.

12. Coffee Quality Institute

The Coffee Quality Institute is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to improve the quality of coffee and the lives of those who produce it. Those lofty aspirations are supported by an online presence that is both professional and intriguing. Their site details the amazing work they do and provides a brilliant overall education for visitors.

There are a number of CQI certifications that are awarded, and this site details them, as well as gives information on what each honor represents. It also details upcoming events and opportunities for those who want to work in this sphere.

13. Specialty Coffee Association

From one educational body to another, The Specialty Coffee Association’s education programs are designed to help you create a successful career in the coffee industry. Their website links their courses together perfectly while giving a visitor a clear idea of what SCA can offer them.

All of the options are neatly presented on the homepage, with four submenus sitting atop the site to give visitors clear navigational options. It’s a clean site with very few images that looks much better on mobile than on desktop. However, in terms of pure functionality and navigation, this is a website that is top of the class.

14. Nespresso

The Nespresso website offers visitors information on everything they could ever possibly want to know about the brand. When we first went on this site, we expected it purely to be focused on selling. However, they also offer an excellent education to readers who want to find out more about the brand.

They also have a special members-only area where you track your orders, learn how to recycle their pods, and do much, much more. Considering the amount of information on the site, it’s surprising how easy it is to navigate. When writing articles, we have used their site for research purposes and we have never had any difficulty finding the information we were looking for.

15. Groundstate Coffee

The Irish coffee roasters produce terrific coffee, but they also have a great website that details what they do, offers different services, and looks pretty good too. We particularly like the typewriter font on their ‘About Us’ page which gives an old-school feel to this innovative brand.

As a roaster that specializes in online sales, it’s important for Groundstate Coffee to have a site that not only looks good but also helps boost its revenue. We think they have a website that will do just that. They are a brand that is really making a name for itself in Europe and with its keen eye for detail and design, it’s easy to see why.

16. Amazon

Some of the websites on this list are individual coffee shops or brands, while others are educational websites or sites where you gain certificates related to Java. However, it’s impossible to ignore a site where you can buy virtually any type of coffee you have ever dreamed of. Amazon is that site.

It feels almost undignified to include Amazon on such a list. However, at the end of the day, if you’re looking for a website to buy coffee online, it’s probably the best one. Of course, it lacks the attractiveness of a specialty coffee roaster’s site, but in terms of a place where coffee lovers can get what they need, it’s defeating all competitors.

17. Best Coffee

Now for something entirely different – Best Coffee is a site that works as a guide to specialty coffee shops in a given area. It’s great if you’re ever in a location you’re not familiar with and want to find a nice place to grab a cup of joe.

It works with a bunch of leading specialty coffee shop brands to ensure that you’re never stuck for a place to have a brew when you’re out and about. It details those brands on its site, as well as giving visitors a place to purchase a whole bunch of coffee-related goodies.

18. Hot and Cool Cafe

Hot and Cool Cafe has managed to create an original-looking website in a sea of homogenous functional sites. Their layout utilizes interactive design, fresh images, and some clear and concise calls to action to create one of our favorite coffee shop websites.

The animations within the site make this a thoroughly fun site to explore. However, it also serves its purpose, giving you plenty of information on the brand as a whole.

19. Lavazza

You will struggle to find a brand that knows its coffee better than Lavazza does and this is reflected on the Italian coffee roaster’s site. There, they not only detail their different types of coffee, but they also give expert tips, highlight the stories of their producers, and educate the visitor on coffee as a whole.

It may not be the easiest site to navigate on our list, but it is one of the most informative. Our favorite part of the site, ‘Lavazza Stories’, is worth the click on its own.
