Hibiscus Mulled Wine Recipe

  • Stove
  • Strainer
  • Tempered glasses

Ingredients
  

  • Water
  • 1/4 cup hibiscus leaves
  • 1 bottle red wine
  • Orange slices
  • 10 cloves
  • 5 pieces star anise
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sweetener of choice
  • Cinnamon stick

Instructions
 

  • Fill half a pot with water and put it on the stove.
  • Allow the water to simmer, and the hibiscus leaves.
  • Let the hibiscus sit for five minutes.
  • Then, add a bottle of red wine to the mixture.
  • Add the orange slices, cloves, star anise, cinnamon, and sweetener.
  • Simmer the mixture for 15 minutes.
  • Strain the drink before serving it in tempered glasses.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an orange slice.
