Hibiscus Margaritas Recipe

  • Stove
  • Pot with a lid
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Margarita glass

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup agave syrup
  • 4 hibiscus teabags
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz tequila
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Boil the water and agave syrup.
  • Turn off the heat, add the teabags, and cover the pot.
  • Let steep for about five to seven minutes. It should turn a deep, dark red.
  • Remove the tea bags and pour the syrup into a glass jar.
  • To make margaritas, add two ounces of this simple syrup, two ounces of grapefruit juice, and two ounces of tequila to a shaker and shake it well.
  • Pour over ice and enjoy!
