  • Scale
  • Espresso machine
  • Kettle

Ingredients
  

  • Coffee beans
  • Hot water

Instructions
 

  • Grind coffee beans to fine grind for espresso.
  • Measure 14 to 18 g of coffee for a double shot.
  • Fill the portafilter with coffee and tamp it.
  • Pull a double shot on the espresso machine.
  • Heat the water to between 160°F and 170°F.
  • Pour the espresso into a mug and top it with water.
