Dirty Chai Energy Balls Recipe

  • Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp allspice
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp espresso powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup smooth nut or seed butter of choice
  • 1/3 cup honey or brown rice syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Combine the spices to make the chai seasoning.
  • Put the chai seasoning, oats, espresso, chia seeds, and mini chocolate chips in a bowl and mix.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the mixture. Combine using a spatula or spoon.
  • Once the ingredients are combined, put the bowl in the freezer for about 10 minutes (or refrigerator for 20 minutes). The cold mixture will be a lot easier to form into energy balls.
  • Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls. Enjoy!
