honey or your favorite sweetener
A slice of lemon to garnish

Instructions
Heat the water on the stove on medium heat.
Add grated turmeric root, powdered ginger, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup to the liquid.
Mix well until dissolved, and let it simmer for ten minutes.
Turn off the heat, strain the liquid, add ice, garnish with a lemon slice, and serve.
