Lemon Ginger Turmeric Iced Tea Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 quart water
  • 1 tsp freshly grated turmeric root
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger root
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp honey or your favorite sweetener
  • A slice of lemon to garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat the water on the stove on medium heat.
  • Add grated turmeric root, powdered ginger, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup to the liquid.
  • Mix well until dissolved, and let it simmer for ten minutes.
  • Turn off the heat, strain the liquid, add ice, garnish with a lemon slice, and serve.
