Foamy Moka Pot Caffè Macchiato Recipe

Equipment

  • Moka pot
  • Milk frother (or a French press)
  • Jug
  • Thermometer
  • Tall glass
  • Saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 oz medium-fine ground coffee
  • 3 oz hot water
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Cinnamon powder to garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Brew Moka pot coffee.
  • Pour the coffee into a mug.
  • Heat the milk over low heat in a saucepan. Keep stirring occasionally and remove the saucepan from heat when the milk reaches 145°F.
  • Froth the milk until foamy.
  • Pour half of the foam into the glass and let it rest until the foam slightly separates.
  • Slowly pour coffee from the Moka pot down the side of the glass into the foam.
  • Add the rest of the foam on top.
  • Garnish the foam with cinnamon powder.
